WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY?
QUESTION: "WHAT IS A CHRISTIAN TESTIMONY?"
ANSWER:
The word “testimony” is used in a couple different ways. One way is when a person is brought into a courtroom and placed under oath to tell, or give witness to his or her personal knowledge or experience concerning the case that is being heard. Only a Christian can give a Christian testimony, and a Christian is a person who has received forgiveness for sin by trusting in the work of Jesus Christ for that forgiveness.
A Christian testimony is given when Christians tells how we came to know the God of the Bible through the prompting of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. Also, when giving this testimony, a sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is very worth while. We can include specific information about how we came to accept Christ as Savior, but those details should not be the main part of our testimony. The focus should be about the death, burial and resurrection of Christ and the new life we gained because of new found faith.
A Christian testimony should not end with the conversion experience, but should also include the ways in which the Lord has worked in our lives to cleans and sanctify us for His service. As an example, a testimony can include how God brought us through a difficult time in our life (such as a major loss) which built our faith clearly in Him through that experience. A testimony should include at least share one verse that speaks of God's faithfulness (Psalm 18:2, 6).
We all have our own personal testimony, have you considered sharing yours with anyone lately?

When you share your testimony, all you are doing is telling others what God has done
for you and your life. No one can argue or debate with if you are sharing the truth of God's love and forgiveness and mercy.
