Information about Bibles for America Ministry
Bibles for America (BFA) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to distribute free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and Christian literature throughout the United States.
BFA was established in 2000 after much prayer and fellowship among a group of Christians in Southern California.
The three-fold mission of Bibles for America is to:
1-Distribute free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version and Christian literature
2-Facilitate home-based gatherings for Bible recipients to fellowship and to study the Scriptures
3-Educate Bible readers regarding both the fundamental and deeper truths in the Holy Word
Our free literature distribution is a volunteer effort with hundreds of participants nationwide. Volunteers give away Bible-offer brochures and free copies of the New Testament Recovery Version in their communities. Volunteers also sponsor the mailing of Bible-offer brochures to entire U.S. zip codes. BFA motor homes with crew members travel around the country throughout the year to distribute free Bibles at venues such as college campuses and retail establishments.

Why is it called the “Recovery Version”?
Each Bible translation has its own name, for example, “King James Version,” or “New International Version.” The “Recovery Version” is simply the name of this translation.
Who is the publisher of the New Testament Recovery Version?
The publisher is Living Stream Ministry in Anaheim, California.
When was it published?
The New Testament Recovery Version was published in 1985 and later revised in 1991. The Holy Bible Recovery Version (text only) was published in 1999, and the study edition was published in 2003.
Who wrote the footnotes?
Witness Lee wrote the footnotes, based on his more than 50 years study of the Bible and of the best Christian writings throughout the centuries. Extensive information about his life and ministry is available through Living Stream Ministry

We fill orders that are direct personal requests only; we do not fill orders made on behalf of others without their consent. If you would like others to receive our free literature, please refer them to our Web site where they may order for themselves.
How long does it take for me to get my free New Testament in the mail?
