1 Corinthians 6:19-20
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.
You must see this guy walking across the United States.
To make this stop-motion film took some real imagination and determination.
It was very clever to say the very least!

Here is a stop-motion film of a man walking across the United States. Six guys drove from New York City to San Francisco in 14 days. Along the way, they snapped 2,770 photos.
Put them together and you get something very cool.

"DOES THE BIBLE MENTION EXCERCISE?

Like many things in life, there are extremes in the area of exercise. Some people focus entirely on spirituality, yet neglect of their physical bodies. Others focus so much attention on their bodies that they neglect spiritual growth and maturity. Both of these are important for biblical balance.

1 Timothy 4:8 tells us, “For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.” Notice that the verse does not say we do not need exercise. Rather, it says that exercise is valuable, but it prioritizes exercise correctly by saying that godliness is of much greater value.

The apostle Paul refers to physical training in illustrating a spiritual truth in
1 Corinthians 9:24-27. He equates the Christian life to a race we run to “get the prize.” But the prize we seek is an eternal crown that will not tarnish or fade.

So, clearly, there is nothing wrong with a Christian exercising. In fact, the Bible is clear that we are to take very good care of our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). At the same time, the Bible warns against vanity (1 Samuel 16:7; Proverbs 31:30). Our goal in exercise should not be to improve the quality of our bodies so that other people will  admire us. Instead, the goal of exercising should be to improve our physical health so we will possess more physical energy that we can devote to spiritual goals.

A FEW SUGGESTIONS ABOUT STARTING TO EXCERCISE!

It is vital for good health that we exercise. If you are just starting up after not exercising for a while. It is wise to start slow and even make an appointment with your doctor before starting. Try not to over do it at first. It is better to be patient when starting out from the gate, instead of sprinting like a race horse and then giving up a few days or weeks later. You can always increase your work out in time. Music is a great thing to include when working out. Be sure to drinking plenty of water to rehydrate, and practice breathing correctly.

Remember to do "your personal best" and go at your own pace not worrying how much other people can do. Working out 3 times a week including things such as:

1~ Stretching out.
2~ 20 minutes of cardiovascular exercise.
3~ Walking, jogging, running, biking, etc.
4~ Lifting weights.
5~ Your favorite sport.
